2026 is a special year: not only because Klimaatservice Holland is celebrating its 50th anniversary, but also because all business units are being brought together under one new, umbrella name: Vinea Installatiegroep.
The story of Klimaatservice Holland begins in February 1976, when Mr. Vliegenthart founded a small family-owned business specializing in HVAC systems. Five decades later, it has grown into a solid organization with multiple areas of expertise and a close-knit team. At the office in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, Managing Director Jan Nederveen looks back on ’a period that flew by, but was navigated with care and attention.’ He sums up the history matter-of-factly: “We’ve never been a company that took big leaps. We grew gradually, because it was necessary and because the demand was there. Every acquisition and every expansion was focused on a single goal: to serve our clients even better.”

Over the past few decades, Klimaatservice Holland has grown into a trusted player in the installation industry. The oldest company acquired by Klimaatservice Holland in 1979—Staal Gorkum—dates back as far as 1934. “Our growth has always been driven by craftsmanship and collaboration,” says Nederveen. “Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of completing some wonderful projects—always alongside colleagues and partners who share the same mindset: do it right, or don’t do it at all.” Yet he emphasizes above all what has not changed. “Our culture has always remained the same. Down-to-earth, thorough, and crafted with care. These are the values that have defined our company for fifty years—and that remain central to everything we do today.”
For the family-owned business, 2026 is a year in which many things come together. In addition to Klimaatservice Holland’s anniversary, the company bid farewell to former director Jan van Wingerden at the end of 2025, as he retired. “Jan dedicated forty years of his life to this company and made an enormous contribution to who we are today,” says Nederveen. “His departure made it the right time to look ahead and continue building toward the future, bringing all our existing business units together under one recognizable name.”
Starting in 2026, the various disciplines will be grouped under a single umbrella: Klimaatservice Holland, Elektroservice Holland, Marineservice Holland, and Sanitairservice Holland. Nederveen explains: “We’ll continue doing what we’ve always done, but we’ll now make it clearer that we’re one family. Vinea Installatiegroep isn’t a new company, but a group in which our areas of expertise reinforce one another.” The name was chosen carefully. “We took our time. This isn’t just about a new logo, but about who we are as an organization. The name had to align with our values and with the trust that customers and employees have placed in us for years.” Each discipline retains its own identity, which is recognizable by its color and area of expertise. “Nothing changes for our customers. They’ll continue to work with the same people and receive the same quality of service. Only our name is becoming clearer.”
The new corporate identity will be rolled out this year on vehicles, clothing, the website, and the company’s premises—in a measured way, as befits the organization. “We’re making big strides, but in our own way—carefully and thoughtfully,” says Nederveen. “That’s typical of a down-to-earth family business that doesn’t want to overhaul everything at once, but does want to move forward.”
In addition to Nederveen and CEO Arjan Hobo, the Vinea Installatiegroep executive team consists of André van Donselaar (Director of Technical Management), Dick Brandwijk (Deputy Director of Elektroservice Holland), and Marius van Wijngaarden (Deputy Director of Marineservice Holland). “Together, we’re ensuring that Vinea Installatiegroep is ready for the coming decades, but it’s mainly thanks to all our colleagues that we’re where we are today. They are the ones who live up to our values every day.”
A solid foundation
Vinea means ‘vineyard’: fertile soil, but also a place where people work hard and thoroughly, rolling up their sleeves and keeping both feet on the ground. “Top quality comes from personal dedication,” Nederveen sums up. “Still, it’s not just about hard work. The real story is about dependence. If it doesn’t rain, nothing grows. It comes down to wisdom. To trust. And to things that take time to take root. Vinea brings it all together:
• A solid foundation of connection.
• A down-to-earth approach to work.
• A thorough approach.
• Personal dedication.
No matter how the company grows, one thing will always remain the same, according to Nederveen: “We will continue to build high-quality systems and provide excellent service—in a down-to-earth, thorough, and attentive manner. That combination is what makes us who we are—and we never want to lose that.”
