Processing 145 tons of steel

HJ Metaalbewerking took care of the steel construction for Caravan Centrum Meerkerk. In their own construction workshop in Vianen they produced and preserved 145 tons of steel. HJ Metaalbewerking also supported the realization of the concrete floor.

"Implementation time was short," says Jeroen Brouwer, director/owner of HJ Metalworking. "Caravan Centrum Meerkerk had terminated the lease of its former location and therefore had to move before Christmas 2022. For this reason, we began preparations even before all the permits were in. In addition, we made a LEAN planning with all subcontractors and maximized the activities. Partly because of this, we were able to build the steel structure within three weeks. As soon as the first part of the structure was standing, Cladding Partners was already starting on the cladding!" 

Metalworking from A to Z

For HJ Metaalbewerking, the steel construction of Caravan Centrum Meerkerk was a medium-sized job. The company started in 2003 in the middle of the village of Beesd. In 2018, it moved to Vianen, where it set up a construction workshop for projects up to 300 tons in any industry. "We are strong in construction work, but stairs, balconies and landings are also in good hands with us. In everything we make, we bet on complete unburdening. We take care of the design, as well as the engineering, production, conservation and assembly." Meanwhile, with its team of specialized metalworkers, HJ Metaalbewerking has developed multiple specializations and built up extensive knowledge and know-how in existing and new technologies. As a result, clients almost always know how to find her.
