Curtain wall with windows of as much as 5.5 meters

Facade builder J.M. van Delft & zn. of Drunen has been trusted by main contractor Aannemersbedrijf P. van Leeuwen to supply and install both the aluminum exterior window frames and aluminum curtain walls for the showroom/shop, office and workshop of Caravan Centrum Meerkerk. 

The curtain wall at the front and rear has windows of no less than 5.5 meters. It was quite a challenge to get these installed, but the men from J.M. van Delft & zn. didn't shy away from that.

With a total construction time of only 7 months, the lead time was short. So was the installation of the curtain walls and window frames. However, despite this short lead time, the construction process actually went very smoothly and well. "Due to good coordination from the contractor and foreman, this was a very pleasant project to work on. Among other things, the transparent communication between them ensured that everything went smoothly," says project manager Remco Kastelijn.

Meanwhile, the building has been fully completed for the facade builder and both parties look back on a pleasant cooperation.
