Jonkman Coating, Hengelo | Lastingly colorful facades thanks to durable coating

Because of the intensive collaboration, it was natural for Jonkman Coating to seek the advice of EUROLACKE for the finish of the exterior of its new premises. Jonkman Coating was looking for a coating that met high, specific requirements both technically and aesthetically.

The relationship between Jonkman Coating and EUROLACKE transcends that of customer and supplier. Aesthetic advice

For the exterior of the new commercial building, Jonkman Coating was looking for a coating with high aesthetic properties. The façade of the commercial building had to be given a chic appearance. Multiple colors and effects had to be applied. After all, the coating had to match the chosen cladding, the tinted glass and the interior blinds, which show a silvery color on the outside. "Aesthetic advice of this level is in expert hands with us," says Theewis. "Our consultants frequently work with architects and designers who are looking for a specific look. For Jonkman Coating, this has resulted in an interesting color combination."

Technical requirements

In addition, the coating had to meet high technical requirements. The demand was for a highly durable powder coating with perfect processing properties. Theewis: "For this we found the solution in Alesta® SD Super Durable coating with metallic in a bonded version. This product line is the solution for any location where long-term UV and weather resistance is required. In addition, the Alesta® SD series is Qualicoat Class 2 and GSB Master certified. The powder coating is available in several colors, gloss levels, surface textures and (metallic) effects. With these qualities, the Alesta® SD coating 100% meets Jonkman Coating's requirements. The facades of the building will retain their color and gloss for decades."
