Jan Snel invests in explosion-proof modules for work in high-risk locations

With its investment in more than eighty explosion-proof modules, known as Blast Resistant Modules, it strengthens Jan Snel its position in the (petro)chemical industry. These modules are specially designed to protect employees in high-risk locations, so-called blast zones, against explosion hazards. Equipped to the highest standards (Psi 12) and fully certified according to the relevant and European regulations, Jan Snel's Blast Resistant Modules are suitable for all blast zones.

With this expansion of offerings, Jan Snel can now provide customers with Blast Resistant Modules in addition to traditional modular housing solutions. This allows customers to house personnel in the blast zone during a Turnaround, the shutdown of production in a plant during maintenance, or during a special project. This provides a significant efficiency gain.

The Blast Resistant Modules are available in different types of units. The units can be linked together to form an open space as large as 180 square meters. Furthermore, the modules are equipped with a water and sewage connection. This means that the installation of a kitchen unit and/or coffee machine is also an option. In the future, the modules can even be stacked to form two or more floors. In addition, partitions can also be placed where necessary so that the customer can determine the layout even if it is rented.

"By adding these Blast Resistant Modules to its offering, Jan Snel can supply everything needed in rental and sales, from chemical toilets to all necessary connections, units and buildings, permanent or temporary," says Monique Los, Sales Manager Europe at Jan Snel. "This allows Jan Snel to meet the full demand of the customer. Unburdening is therefore central. Together we sit down to see what is needed and how we can organize the space as optimally and efficiently as possible. After all, these explosion-proof modules are no different from a standard unit in terms of installation and layout. We already have a nice number of Blast Resistant Modules in stock and hope to be of service to many companies in the future."
