Seamless cooperation for a perfect finish

Stam Montagebouw is one of the driving forces behind the prestigious office project for De Vries en Verburg. As a permanent partner in the field of finishing, the trust given by the construction company and the developer is the icing on the cake of the intensive cooperation, says project manager Eduard ten Ham.

Stam Montagebouw, specialist in dry finishing, has built a solid reputation in the Randstad region. The company delivers sleek walls, ceilings and floors with an eye for detail. According to Ten Ham, Stam stands out for its flexibility and craftsmanship. "We work for several contractors, but the long-term cooperation with De Vries en Verburg is very valuable to us. That we get to finish its own headquarters feels like a compliment and a prestige project."

An office with ambition

Pearl in the Polder, the expansion of De Vries en Verburg's office, is pursuing the highest sustainability standards. The project aims for certifications such as BREEAM-NL Outstanding and WELL v2 Platinum and takes into account the Paris-proof CO2 targets. A bold project, in which innovation and sustainability are central.

"In this project, we not only helped build, but also contributed ideas," Ten Ham explains. "In the preparation, for example, we optimized the design of the stairwell. That was done entirely in wood and covered with fire-resistant plasterboard. A nice challenge."

Flexibility as key

In addition to delivering sleek round and curved walls, Stam Montagebouw's finishers also provided innovative solutions, such as built-in air vents and precise coordination of logistics and planning. "The flexibility of our team is a strength," says Ten Ham. "At the last minute, fireproofing requirements came up with the entrance stairs. We made sure this was resolved quickly. That typifies our approach."

Proud of cooperation

The project is coming to an end and Stam Montagebouw looks back with pride. "The cooperation with De Vries en Verburg is always pleasant," Ten Ham says. "She is always clear and so are we. The fact that she trusts us again and again says a lot about our quality." The best thing for Stam Montagebouw? "That's the fact that we were asked for this job. We always work with De Vries en Verburg on beautiful projects. But the fact that we were also asked for her own office building is extra special."
