VidaXL, Venlo | Façade panels give DC vidaXL a unique look, at any time of day

Specialist in roof and facade cladding FALK Bouwsystemen has supplied the facade panels for the new distribution center of vidaXL in Venlo. The choice was made for the FALK 1060 WB (concealed) sandwich facade panels with a micro-rib profile, which are finished with a special coating in the color FALK Copper Metallic. This unique, architectural coating creates a different appearance under any lighting.

"Client DENC Zuid was looking for facade panels with high quality, durability and insulation value, in a specific color and gloss level," says Arjan Mark den Boer, Sales Manager at FALK Bouwsystemen. "Our FALK 1060 WB panels provide an excellent answer to this. In total, we supplied around 17,000 m² of facade panels 120 mm thick, with an Rc value of 5.45 m²K/W."

The FALK 1060 WB sandwich panels are characterized by tight ribbed profiling, concealed fastening and a working width of 1,060 mm. "The sandwich panels are constructed from two profiled steel plates with an insulation core between them with a tested air permeability of qv;10 and an RC value of up to 7.35 m²K/W. These values are so high that the FALK 1060 WB panels can also be used excellently in passive construction projects. In addition, the panels are "FM Approved."

A maxirib, micro-rib or box profiling can be chosen for the profiling of the outer sheet, says Den Boer. "The sandwich panels can be fixed horizontally and vertically. Combined with the extensive range of colors, a unique design can be created for each building."
