PERI's products and systems are well thought out, efficient to use and offer proven (German) quality. This, of course, also applies to the PERI UP scaffolding systems. Rob Huijsmans from PERI Netherlands gives all the ins and outs of the flexible and modular scaffolding system that stands out with a number of unique features.

PERI UP Easy with stair tower.
The German family business PERI is known for its formwork systems, supports and scaffolding and operates worldwide with over 9,500 employees. The Dutch market is served from the Schijndel office. "We offer our customers full support, from design and engineering to even instructions on the construction site," says Huijsmans. "Within our program of scaffolding systems, we distinguish two types, the PERI UP Easy and the PERI UP Flex. The former is a rapid construction system that is ideally suited for painting and renovation work on facades, while the Flex focuses more on industry and construction."
The so-called gravity lock ensures that when the head of the wedge is inserted into the rosette, gravity does its work to lock the joint.
Huijsmans says a major advantage of the PERI scaffolds is that little or no hammer is needed to assemble them. "The so-called 'gravity lock' ensures that when the head of the wedge is pushed into the rosette, gravity does its work to lock the connection. A substantial advantage over other systems. The shape and construction of the rosette also make it possible to extend the scaffold in as many as 12(!) directions without having to deploy additional uprights/components. It does justice to the slogan 'more scaffolding with fewer parts'. It is also possible to attach various extension consoles to the scaffold." Another big advantage, according to Huijsmans, is that the steel grid floors are completely tight and lie completely flat in the scaffold. "There are no holes, gaps or other obstacles. The steel grid floors also have an integrated blow-up protection, without having to perform additional handling. The modular stair tower completes the picture."
PERI modular scaffolding is produced, inspected and guaranteed at the factory in Germany. "We control the entire process from A to Z with components made exclusively in Germany and our own galvanizing plant. It is also the fastest and lightest scaffolding system available on the market. The scaffolding systems can be bought as well as rented through our office in Schijndel."
