The two buildings are connected by an underground private parking garage. They are equipped with everything from security facilities to elevators and (in the future) a newly constructed harbor.
Not the least names have contributed to the design of the two buildings. (Interior) architects Jan des Bouvrie, René de Vries, Thomas s'Jacob and Eric Kuster determined the contemporary look of the project with their own distinctive design style. The main contractor was De Vries en Verburg Bouw. This company is among the largest contractors in the Netherlands. De Vries en Verburg built the fourteen homes up to the casco+ level. That is, up to and including the final assembly of the electrics and lighting and with sauce-ready plastering. "We took on the work in a construction team agreement and managed all the subcontractors and suppliers. The people who buy the apartment get to finish it themselves. They can give their own interpretation of their home," says Marco Pellikaan of De Vries and Verburg.
Concrete work on the basement began in January 2019. The project is literally ín the water, so first of all, a sheet piling was installed. Then the parking garage was excavated and realized. After the concrete work of the basement was completed, the sheet piling could be pulled out again. Pellikaan: "The water stands against the basement wall we realized. The main load-bearing structure consists of concrete, sand-lime brick and steel. Poriso with insulation was chosen for the facades. Then we mounted natural stone facades with aluminum window frames. It is a high-end apartment building with above-average attention to detail."
The houses have a full W-installation with ventilation, floor cooling and floor heating, connected to a WKO. A heat pump with boiler tank is installed in the apartments. Furthermore, the building has a high level of insulation and airtightness, LED lighting has been applied everywhere and an energy-efficient elevator has been installed. Besides a sustainable and comfortable environment, the homes also have the necessary luxury. For example, a home automation system is already present as standard, which can be further expanded according to the wishes of the future residents.
But perhaps the most valuable thing about the homes is the magnificent view. Wherever you look outside, you see water everywhere. You experience space in abundance. Inside, the homes are spacious and on the outside they also feature extra-large terraces ranging from 77 to 310 m², which are also partially covered. This allows residents to enjoy the beautiful surroundings from early spring to late autumn.
The shell building was completed in July 2020. Developer De Plassen is very happy with the result achieved and is currently working on further landscaping the outdoor area. The marina will also be completely high-end, so that residents can get into their boats right from their apartment complex and sail out onto the lake.

Specialist in interior doors and frames delivers total customized solution for luxury apartments
When Arno de Haan of Westag Netherlands visited the prestigious DAM3 residential project in Amsterdam with a photographer, he came into contact by chance with the clients of project West End Residence in Loosdrecht.
"Interior doors and window frames in apartments must meet strict requirements in terms of sound insulation, fire resistance and burglar resistance, just like in hotels, cinemas and theaters," he says. "Westag Netherlands has been providing customized solutions for such demanding applications for more than 25 years." The interior doors and window frames are produced in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Germany, which consistently strives to comply with and improve environmental measures. "We always want to be involved in projects at an early stage so that we can advise architects and clients on the possible solutions for their application. For the 14 luxury apartments on the Loosdrechtse Plassen in the mid-2020s, we not only supplied a total solution with indoor front door and frame, but also the necessary hardware, such as multi-point locks and built-in door closers."
