System C as a guarantee of a healthy, comfortable and energy-efficient indoor environment
Since the establishment of Duco Ventilation & Sun Control in 1991, the Veurne-based company has grown into a leading player in the European market for natural ventilation and sun protection systems. Duco wants to provide every resident with a healthy, comfortable and energy-efficient indoor climate. Due to the continuing growth of the company, a second branch was opened for non-residential buildings. This means that Duco can now also offer total solutions to companies, hospitals or residential care centers, and schools.

In order to offer a customized solution for every situation, Duco developed several total concepts - DUCO at HOME / WORK / SCHOOL and CARE - which are always based on five pillars: basic ventilation (sound attenuating ventilation grilles, fire-resistant grilles ...), pass-through ventilation (grilles through interior doors), return air (the DucoBox in combination with return air valves), ventilative cooling or night cooling (burglar-resistant wall or window grilles ...), and exterior sun protection (fabric sun protection and architectural sun protection).

System C is the ventilation strategy used by Duco in all its concepts. Here fresh outside air is supplied naturally through self-regulating grilles in the living spaces. The transit takes place through the corridor and stairwell to the humid areas such as kitchen, bathroom and toilet after which polluted and/or humid air is mechanically removed from the humid areas.

Continuous investment in all available resources has long been the cornerstone of Duco's corporate vision. Thus, production was automated and the manufacturing process is done in-house from start to finish. This allows optimal quality to be assured.

In addition, the company is strongly committed to its own R&D department to invariably continue to innovate. After all, in a rapidly evolving landscape of environmental and energy regulations, it is necessary to keep investing in research into energy-efficient solutions.
