For Vanderlande's Building 60, Bouwbedrijf van de Ven called on Hoppenbrouwers Techniek. This esteemed all-round technical service provider with more than 1,500 employees, spread over 16 branches throughout the Netherlands, has extensive experience and expertise in the field of E- and W-installations, industrial automation, security, sprinklers, renewable energy, service and technical management.
Previously, Hoppenbrouwers carried out the technical installations for the Vanderlande Academy, so the company knows perfectly what high demands this client sets in terms of safety and sustainability, among other things. "In early 2019, we drew up a design and Plan of Action for Building 60 with Bouwbedrijf van de Ven. After we were awarded the contract, we worked out the designs in more detail and started engineering all the E and W installations, security, access control and sprinkler systems. In close consultation with the main contractor and the other construction partners, we are also responsible for the assembly of the components on the construction site," explains electrical engineering project manager Dennis Eijsermans. "In itself, this is not an exceptional project for us, but the size and the ambition to realize the building according to BREEAM-NL 'Outstanding' standards do present the necessary challenges. In terms of logistics, i.e. delivering everything to the construction site at the right time, meticulous follow-up and good communication with the other parties are very important. Moreover, the original plans for the installations were modified during the construction process. We are therefore proud of the final result, because this is a beautiful project for a wonderful client."
