At a strategic location in 's-Heerenberg, near the German border, real estate developer Panattoni is developing a new and state-of-the-art distribution center. Preco was engaged by contractor Goldbeck to supply precast T-elements for the dock constructions and insulated precast walls for the facade plinth. A project that tastes like more for the total supplier of precast concrete elements.

Panattoni is a property developer of German origin that is rapidly expanding its portfolio in the Dutch market. On the logistics hotspot DocksNLD in 's-Heerenberg, Goldbeck is now building a distribution center with a total area of approximately 24,000 m2. "We have been commissioned to supply around 800 m2 of insulated walls for the facade plinth and 22 T-elements," says Inge van de Weerd of Preco. "Basically a routine job for us as a total supplier, were it not for the fact that we did work according to German principles with non-standard connections."

The facade plinths and T-elements have already been assembled on site. Van de Weerd looks back on an extremely pleasant cooperation with Goldbeck. "It is a fine organization with short lines of communication. That promotes engineering and work preparation. Within a week everything was final and we could start our production. That really did make the project a success for us." For both Preco and Goldbeck, it tastes like more. "We already have the next four properties on order as well," says Van de Weerd. "Thereby we may deliver the same concept as for the building in 's Heerenberg. One of these has already been realized in Moerdijk, two more will follow in Zaandam and one in Heerlen." The distribution center in 's-Heerenberg is expected to be completed in May 2022.
