WEBO, producer of precast HSB elements and frames, has launched a new product: the Circular-Frame®. A step toward the future of circular construction methods. The Circular-Frame® is an example of how innovation and environmental awareness go hand in hand to transform the construction industry.
The Circular-Frame® WEBO consists of an inner and outer part. The inner part of the frame is made of scrap wood or native wood. Think of wood from old doors. In WEBO's own carpentry factory, the scrap wood is processed and prepared for the production of window frames. This gives the wood a second life. The outside of the Circular-Frame® is easy to disassemble and replace. This makes the window frame not only sustainable, but also an example of circularity. The exterior can be fitted with either wood or aluminum.
WEBO is taking the lead in using recycled scrap wood and sustainably sourced native wood. By promoting reuse and managing the wood supply chain, the Circular Window Frame contributes® help reduce the construction industry's carbon footprint. In addition, wood has the unique property that it does not emit CO2, but rather stores it. As a result, the Circular-Frame® fits perfectly with the goal of enabling a fully circular economy by 2050.
WEBO's Circular-Frame® is not only environmentally friendly, but also achieves exceptional performance in the areas of insulation, sound insulation and burglar resistance. These qualities, combined with a low Total Cost of Ownership, make the Circular-Frame® an attractive option. The window frame meets current performance standards and FSC® and/or PEFC wood is always used.
WEBO's Circular Frame® is a wonderful product for developers, housing corporations, architects and contractors who want to enrich their construction project with sustainable, high-quality window frames. An ecologically responsible product that meets the goal of a circular economy in 2050.
WEBO has already produced and assembled circular window frames for several projects:
