Van Eck Elektro has more than a hundred years of experience in electrical engineering, telematics and security. The company is a frequently seen partner in distribution centers, office buildings and laboratories. Based on this experience, it was also involved in the realization of the new laboratory with office space of NutriControl in Veghel.
“Commissioned by Bouwbedrijf van de Ven, we provided the complete electrical installation for the new building,” says Laurens van Heumen, director at Van Eck Elektro. “From the light and power installations to the fire alarm system, camera systems, alarm systems, intercom and access control. In the parking lot, we realized several EV charging points. In addition, we were responsible for installing the solar panels on the roof.”
Van Eck Elektro had an active role in the engineering phase, to properly coordinate the aforementioned installations with the consultant, W-installer and contractor. “In total, the preliminary process lasted more than a year and a half, during which we proposed various optimizations and alternatives,” Van Heumen said. “Here our extensive experience in laboratory projects came in handy.” Because the new building is a laboratory environment, the entire installation was halogen-free, he says. “From cables to brackets and pipe provisions. In addition, halogen-free (CCA) aluminum power cables were used.”
