The next step in BENG 

For over 40 years, Celdex has been advising, producing and supplying plastic foam sealing products that are excellent airtight, impact rainproof, waterproof, thermal and acoustic insulators. "We conceive, develop and produce all our products entirely in-house, at our modern production site in Boxtel," says Henny van der Heijden, Business Development Manager at Celdex. "Energy-efficient building resulted in BENG a few years ago. This put the importance of good air sealing even more firmly on the agenda," says Van der Heijden. Essential building blocks for an airtight home

With Celdex's Dichtgarant concept and Seal4Prefab sealing system, construction stakeholders have all the essential building blocks to achieve and demonstrate the desired air and driving rain sealing. "Whereas fellow companies often still produce tapes, PUR foams and sealants, we specialize in 'dry' sealing products with foam tapes that can already be applied prefab in the factory," said Van der Heijden. "This makes the taping, masking or sealing of, for example, coupling seams on site a thing of the past."

With Dichtgarant, Celdex offers a complete sealing concept for the serial and industrial construction of ground-level homes. "A revolutionary product within this concept is our EPDM Stelkozijnband, which guarantees durable air sealing of set frames on sand-lime brick and concrete cavity walls," said Van der Heijden. "For high-rise projects, we developed Seal4Prefab, which provides both the air seal on the inside, the insulating middle seal and the driving rain seal on the outside. A nice development within this sealing system is our Pre-Seal M foam tape for scaffold-free construction with precast concrete sandwich and wood frame elements. This further increases the quality and economic benefits."
