De Hoop Pekso's wide-span slabs play a crucial role in the high-profile Hotel the Dunes project in Domburg. Not only as a load-bearing structure, but also as a connecting element between technology, collaboration, and quality.

The wide slab floors consist of a reinforced prefab shell with a thickness of 50, 60, or 70 millimeters, equipped with structural reinforcement and lattice girders. After the slabs have been laid, the installation phase and backfilling follow, creating a robust, soundproof, and fire-resistant floor. Thanks to their smooth underside, the floors are immediately suitable for spray painting, while the great freedom of form simplifies the integration of piping and sloping edges.

From engineering to execution

The floors are manufactured in the modern factory in Oosterhout, under optimal working and climate conditions. During the preparation phase, De Hoop Pekso closely coordinates the floor-wall connections with the main contractor to prevent clashes and failure costs during implementation.
