Offices and healthcare facilities are also allowed to look homey and warm
Tachup is growing. Martin Groenewege founded the company 15 years ago with the goal of beautifying interiors. Until now, he did this mainly for the leisure industry. Now the time has come to expand; his son joined the company and a designer was hired. "We are going to focus fully on healthcare and offices," he says.
As a partner of project designers, stylists and architects, Tachup realizes surprising interior design projects. In addition to photo walls and prints on various materials, the company has increasingly been asked to install acoustic panels, entirely according to the client's wishes, of course. Ludo, Martin Groenewege's son, worked in the construction industry for a long time and has an enormous amount of knowledge in the field of materials. He is therefore the perfect addition to the company. If there are any questions about wall panels and material choices, he knows how to give sound advice. Groenewege: "Over the past four years, Tachup has done 22 restaurants that involved construction-related issues. Thanks to our expansion, we now have even more knowledge about that and can give even better advice."
Tachup works with external designers, but has recently added a designer to its own team. She can create something creative out of nothing, tailored exactly to the client's specific needs. "Previously, I sought external collaborations for this when there was a demand. Now we can provide this service internally and that works much better. We are ready for the future," says Groenewege.
Now that the knowledge and skills have been expanded, there is also room to serve new sectors. Starting next year, Groenewege plans to dedicate himself fully to healthcare organizations and offices in addition to the leisure sector. "Spaces within healthcare institutions and offices are also becoming increasingly homely and warm. Instead of chilly, white partition walls, there is a trend for things to be more beautiful. We see more and more beautiful walls within care homes and hospitals. We like to think along with them, give advice and work it out. We work together with project designers and other parties. We have the manpower and expertise for all types of walls. The material we use can consist of normal wallpaper, but also materials that are extra washable and hygienic. Moreover, we use only the best quality for our products. This also applies to hotels and catering establishments. In that respect, the conditions are fairly similar."
Materials such as aluminum, dibond, wood, textiles, canvas, acrylic and HPL panels are among the possibilities. In terms of imagery, stock photos or in-house imagery can be used, and we also regularly collaborate with a photographer or artist. The decorations are resistant to moisture and impacts. Therefore, they are also suitable for lockers and panel doors of sanitary ware.
December 9, 2023, marked Tachup's 15th anniversary. Together with the expansion, Groenewege thinks this should be celebrated. That is why a new inspiration magazine was released introducing the company and its employees. Are you interested? New customers will receive it in their mailbox and it will also appear online on Tachup's website.
