SUCCESSED 2nd EDITION OF TECHNI-MAT

On Wednesday, March 9 and Thursday, March 10, the second edition of TECHNI-MAT took place at Kortrijk Xpo. TECHNI-MAT is a fair that focuses on techniques and materials for infra and structural engineering and is an initiative of InfraTech (Rotterdam Ahoy) and Matexpo (The Fair Experts).

It was quite a relief for the organizers that this was the first trade fair that could go on without restrictions in two years. Everyone was excited to finally be able to meet customers and relations again in normal conditions.

Nothing was changed to the all-in concept of the first edition, the partners provided a nice & strong content program and there was a very positive atmosphere among the 123 exhibitors and visitors. There was general satisfaction with the booths and unanimous agreement on the quality of visitors as well. In total 1937 professionals along spread over the 2 days, some 17% more than in October 2020.

TECHNI-MAT AWARDS

​During the presentation of the second Techni-Mat Awards, hijacked Kessel with EcoLift (XL) the Sustainability Award road and CGK Maritime with SUREbridge the Technical Award. Visitors cast their votes for one of the six nominees on March 9. Stradus with Hydro Store+ won the Audience Award.

In the coming days, an extensive survey of exhibitors and visitors will be organized. This should give the organization an insight into areas for improvement in order to make the necessary adjustments for the third edition.
