Platform on new construction, renovation, restoration and transformation
The Scaffoldless® system is playing an important role in two innovative and sustainable projects: Houtrak in Amsterdam and Campus Midden in Lelystad. For both projects, WEBO is currently producing and assembling the complete Scaffoldless® elements, including facade cladding and window frames. By building prefabricated, the elements are delivered to the construction site just-in-time and assembled without scaffolding, which significantly reduces the construction time. For Houtrak, WEBO also uses circular wooden cladding, derived from old sheet pile walls (Azobé).

Houtrak, located on the former Oostenburg industrial estate in Amsterdam, is a paragon of sustainable architecture. By using circular Azobé cladding, derived from old sheet pile walls, a high level of sustainability is achieved in addition to reuse and robust aesthetics. This is because the wood is particularly hard, resists rot and has excellent fire performance (Euro class B-S2-D0 classification). In addition to the Azobé cladding, the elements are provided with (fire-resistant) frames, the Wood-Alu-Frame® and the WoodAlu-Frame Fireproof®. In addition, wooden balconies and laminated columns are used to make the project as sustainable as possible.
The collaboration between VORM2050 and WEBO illustrates a clear shift in the construction industry, with an emphasis on speed, cost reduction and customer satisfaction.
Campus Central proves how innovation contributes to sustainable living comfort. This project includes three completely gas-free buildings (Block C, D and E), connected to district heating, which reduces dependence on fossil fuels. Each building has a unique architecture, and all apartments are equipped with private balconies and modern amenities. The prefabricated facade elements, pre-fitted with mineral bricks and frames, allow for a shorter and smoother construction period.
The engineering, production and assembly will be carried out by WEBO on behalf of Ter Steege Vastgoed Apeldoorn. Prefabricated construction allows new homes to be built in a shorter period of time, helping to reduce the tightness of the housing market.
Scaffoldless® Building contributes to less transport and inconvenience, a fast construction time and supports sustainable and circular construction. The elements are engineered according to BENG and NOM as standard and are ideal for high-rise and inner-city construction.
