Excavating and pumping a deep basement, constructing a casing pipe route under remediation conditions or performing demolition and earthworks in an inner-city environment. For VMV Projecten, it is daily business. The company from Renswoude set foot in the construction world almost twenty years ago. Since then it has carried out more than a thousand earthmoving and infrastructure projects.
VMV Projects has been a reliable earthmoving and infrastructure partner for clients in the construction and real estate industries since 2003. VMV Projects' professional team provides every conceivable service in this field. From engineering to soil remediation, earthwork, exterior sewerage, drainage, site paving, landscaping and site design.
"We mainly perform infrastructure work on construction projects," says VMV Projects director Henk Hazeleger. "We often do this on behalf of developers and construction companies. They expect us to go beyond 'you ask, we turn'. From our vision of result-oriented and quality-conscious work, we are happy to give substance to that. On the one hand by contributing ideas at an early stage for the development of a design, the fulfilment of sustainability ambitions or the efficient execution of the building process. But also by acting as a reliable and flexible partner who thinks in terms of solutions. We keep our commitments and we respond adequately to any changes in the project schedule."
VMV Projects' method of working pays off. In barely two decades, the company has built a strong network of clients. "More than half of our order portfolio consists of assignments from parties we have worked with for years. We nurture these lasting relationships by striving for maximum satisfaction on every project. Our close-knit team of skilled employees plays an important role in this. They are our calling card on the construction sites. We therefore focus on the quality and well-being of our people. We invest in their knowledge, skills and social skills. For example, communication skills are very important in order to work well with colleagues, superintendent and others involved."
With more than a thousand infra and earthmoving jobs completed, VMV Projects' work underlies countless construction and real estate developments. Throughout the Netherlands, homes, stores, industrial buildings and entire neighborhoods have been built on ground that VMV Projecten has remediated, paved, prepared for construction, paved, planted and/or provided with shoring. And then there are the activities that are no longer visible. Examples include the digging of excavation pits, the construction of sewers and the driving or vibrating of sheet piling.
When asked what the future of VMV Projects looks like, Hazeleger replied, "We are constantly moving with the times. We are currently equipping our entire machinery with GPS. This allows us to work even more accurately and efficiently. At the same time, we stick to our traditional values. We remain focused on high execution quality, satisfied customers and a professional, close-knit team. As far as we are concerned, therein lies the solid foundation for a future-proof company."
