As a client in construction, you want quality in a realistic time frame. It's as simple as that. However complicated a job may be, that's basically what it comes down to. "That's why at BudoBouw we always look along with the client. From the design phase to completion. It's the end result that counts," says director/owner Denis van Wijk.
Just flip through these yearbooks and you'll see that it's been his credo for years. The Zwolle-based concrete builder is happy to put in extra time to watch and adjust. "It serves a common interest. This working method leads to realistic planning, quality assurance and delivery reliability. Let's face it: surely that's good for everyone," he states rhetorically. These are fine words and they should be music to the ears of every client, but you have to live up to them. BudoBouw dares when it comes to traditional concrete work, foundation construction and repair, tunnel construction, complete steel and concrete skeletons and the delivery and assembly of precast concrete parts with a KOMO or product certificate. This is mainly due to the stable and loyal team of employees. "What makes us strong and distinctive is that we source the cranes, machinists and riggers through our other company Kraaninspectie Nederland. This ensures optimal interaction between machinists and builders and it promotes the speed of the construction process. That is pure profit. For us as well as for the client."
Combine this with the mentality in the eastern part of the country ("we say what we do and we do what we say"), you can see that BudoBouw is a welcome guest on the construction site. And that with this concrete builder you lay a solid foundation under a construction project. Both literally and figuratively. "It's all about the holy trinity of quality, time, durability and safety everywhere. Partly thanks to achieving the second rung of the Safety Ladder, these qualities are well balanced with us. This means that we can also handle large projects very well."
You can read the enthusiasm and pride between the words, and you should. BudoBouw can look back on some very nice projects in 2023. Consider Baronie Haven 3rd phase in Alphen aan den Rijn, commissioned by BVR Bouw Gorinchem B.V. "As far as I'm concerned our calling card of this year. A beautiful, challenging job. 118 Dwellings divided over three residential buildings with 800 square meters of commercial space. And underneath a spacious parking garage," says Van Wijk. You are easily tempted to describe this kind of work as 'cherry-picked', but it is now starting to become fairly standard for BudoBouw. Another nice project from 2023 came through PHB Deventer. It concerns the new construction of an AH supermarket in Muiden with 36 apartments and a semi-underground parking garage. Finally, we cannot fail to mention 5TRACKS in Breda - a J.P. van Eesteren commission in Gouda. "Here no fewer than five functions (hotel, offices, housing, park and facilities) are integrated into a complex spread over three buildings. BudoBouw took care of the entire foundation and the concrete shell of the Mid-Town and Up-Town buildings."
