Platform on new construction, renovation, restoration and transformation

'We steal the future'

No progress without innovation. That's the motto of Reijrink Staalconstructie. The Brabant family business has been the address for the design and production, preservation, delivery and assembly of high-quality, robust and durable steel structures for 54 years. From functional stair railings to complex constructions that travel the world.

"We help build industrial halls, distribution centers, compound feed plants, parking garages, offices, stores, cinemas and sports halls, taking care of clients from A to Z," says director Willem Reijrink. "We speak the language of steel and invest continuously in techniques, software, knowledge and people. We work smart and efficiently, have knowledge of BIM, LEAN, BREEAM and Design & Build processes and can keep up with the tightest schedules. Moreover, we have the most innovative steel plant in Europe. The latest addition to this factory is 'The Fabricator', which allows us to attach and weld head, foot and sketch plates to steel structural beams fully automatically."

Thanks to "The Fabricator," Reijrink Staalconstructie can fully automatically attach and weld head, foot and sketch plates to the steel structural beams.

Closing piece of the Reijrink 4.0 strategy

'The Fabricator' is the impressive final piece of the Reijrink 4.0 strategy, with which Reijrink Staalconstructie wants to remain at the forefront of the market and be a progressive and skilled partner for its customers. "In recent years, we have invested heavily in new software, robots and machines. A great example of this is our high-tech machine line, with which we can fully automatically machine products up to a length of 27 meters," said Reijrink. "Since January 1, 2020, we have already been able to blast, drill and mill, scribe, saw and cut our steel beams fully automatically. With 'The Fabricator,' fully automatic bonding and welding has been added to this. Products leaving the new machine line can be directly conserved in our own wet paint shop or at our galvanizing partner."

Attractive employer

The new machine line allows for significantly faster work. "Because the line is controlled directly from our BIM software, communication noise and failure costs are avoided," said Reijrink. "By automating processes, we are also responding to the growing shortage of skilled workers. Whereas the new machine line lends itself perfectly to standardized works, our assemblers and welders are now mainly deployed for the challenging works and specials. This, combined with extensive training and education, makes us an even more attractive employer."
