100% water and airtight with liquid rubber

On the Park070 project in Voorburg, JM Totaalafdichtingen was responsible for making some crucial details water- and airtight. Together with Bolton Adhesives Griffon was chosen for Griffon HBS-200 Liquid Rubber.

"This project in particular involved making details around the bilge seams water and airtight before the screed could be poured," said Joost van der Zon, director of JM Total Seals. "We used a fair amount of product: about 340 liters of Griffon HBS-200 Liquid Rubber and about 240 meters of Griffon HBS-200 Geotextile."

JM Total Sealings is working more frequently with the professional brand Griffon, says Bolton Adhesives' regional manager Ewald Schop. "We have a long-standing cooperation with Griffon with JM and have realized a good development with each other during this period. This also applies to the future. We also work frequently with contractor Van Wijnen. We can therefore regularly be found on the construction site."

Versatile

Griffon HBS-200 Liquid Rubber is a versatile product. It is suitable for repairing or completely renewing roofs and gutters, for example. It cures well, but remains 900% stretchable and is UV-resistant. In addition, the product is free of chemicals and bears the various quality marks, such as NEN-EN 1026, 1027 and 12114, LEED and BREEAM. After curing, the rubber is paintable and overpaintable. This also makes it suitable for indoor use. Schop: "So it is a very versatile and high-quality product. It can even be applied as a water barrier around shower gutters."
