High-tech floor finish in parking garage

The VLAQ Group has been a well-known name in the field of high-tech plastic technologies for more than 45 years. It was therefore asked to provide the parking garage of mobility hub Elements in Haarlem with a floor finish with anti-slip coating. The ramps also have a permanently waterproof floor finish, so that the commercial areas below are protected from moisture. For the stairwells, the client chose a safe, non-slip coating.

Good relationship with the customer

The permanently waterproof floor finish on the ramps is not common in parking garages, says Hans Vogel of the VLAQ Group's Moor-drecht branch. "This choice was made to prevent water seepage into the hospitality areas below."

The VLAQ Group has been working with Aan de Stegge Twello for years, for this project with part Continental Car Parks. Vogel: "We have a good relationship with this customer. We have been working with many customers for years, for example." 

High-tech plastics technologies

In addition to parking garage floor finishes, the VLAQ Group engages in many more disciplines. From project design to high-tech plastic techniques, such as the application of synthetic resin-bonded cast floors. The company has its own factory for the production of synthetic resin products. Knowledge and expertise about these products and the application of systems thus remains guaranteed. The VLAQ Group is also a well-known name in infrastructure and industry: from wearing courses for bridge decks and slip roads to finishing industrial floors. Vogel: "With Mobility Hub Elements, we have completed another great project for a satisfied customer!"
