Innovative escape route system

"In harmony with the already existing environment, this sliding door - in normal situations - will slide open and close fully automatically," said Wijnstekers. "In the event of a fire alarm, however, the door - even without power - will close mechanically and transform into a manually operated revolving door that, after you push it open, will close mechanically. In addition to airports, office environments, stores, hotels, hospitals and care centers, the standard escape sliding door lends itself perfectly to car showrooms because it allows the entire width of the facade to be utilized."
