When designing the Spinoza20first sports hall, the importance of pleasant room acoustics weighed heavily. That quickly brought the client to TIG Akoestiek from Almelo. It has been a specialist in reverberation in sports facilities for more than fifteen years. With two acoustic sporTIG® partition walls, they realized pleasant room acoustics.
The sporTIG® partitions from TIG Acoustics are modular, covered with synthetic leather and easily operated with a key switch. This easily raises or lowers the sporTIG® partition wall and divides the sports hall as needed in no time. In addition, the sporTIG® partition wall has a high sound absorption capacity, even at the level where the sound is produced. Annoying flutter echoes easily fall away.
The sporTIG® partition wall is TIG Akoestiek's answer to the simple partitions that existed until five years ago. The synthetic leather covering is easily removable and the filling is - as Hegeman Bouw & Infra requested - environmentally friendly. "By using the sporTIG® partition walls, there is now a large absorption surface in the hall sections," explains Casper Olminkhof, project manager of TIG Akoestiek. "This is made from recycled PET bottles with a high absorption coefficient. The cloth is delivered ready to use and is fitted with a tendon. By connecting the webs together on site, the partition wall can be assembled quickly and easily."
Frequently, the sporTIG® partition wall offers a solution in renovation projects, when the structural walls do not offer possibilities for installing absorption. Here, too, the sporTIG® partition wall simply improves the acoustics. This eliminates the risk of hearing problems, overtired sports teachers due to poor acoustics are a thing of the past, and finally the partition wall leads to optimal use of the sports hall. With a thickness of only 250 mm, the wall only occupies a very limited amount of space.
