Completion of new exhibition hall 'Next Level' at Evenementenhal Gorinchem end of this week

The new Next Level exhibition hall at Evenementenhal Gorinchem will be completed by the end of this week. So reports owner and exhibition organizer Easyfairs Netherlands. This second ultramodern exhibition hall has been under construction for almost six months. This mega-investment will give Evenementenhal Gorinchem a major quality boost. The purchasing fair TrendZ Autumn will be the first to use Next Level on August 25, 26 and 27. The official opening of Next Level will be in October with a festive reception. 

Work on Next Level started almost six months ago. At that time, the original upper floor of Evenementenhal Gorinchem was completely dismantled. Subsequently, Next Level has taken more and more shape. For example, two new escalators and a fixed staircase were recently installed, forming the connection between the existing exhibition hall on the first floor and the renovated upper floor. Furthermore, the larger of the two conference halls has been equipped with a widescreen of over twelve meters wide and the sanitary facilities have been completed. Next Level is also equipped with a meter-long glass wall on the balcony that can be opened and closed. In addition, this wall has an integrated blackout facility, so that the glass wall can be visually closed off from the first floor.

Sustainability

"The original upper floor is no longer recognizable. Next Level has thousands of square meters of exhibition floor, a reception area and two conference rooms," says CEO Jeroen van Hooff of Easyfairs Netherlands proudly. "We are now putting the finishing touches to Next Level's decoration and furnishings, with sustainability playing a very important role. Look at the new sanitary facilities, for example, where we are using waterless urinals. This saves us thousands of liters of precious drinking water per year."

Next Level Overview

The new upstairs Next Level occupies a total of 6,400 square meters, including 5,800 square meters of exhibition floor and conference space. Next Level is used, among other things, for trade shows that have outgrown their space on the first floor. They can now expand to the upper floor. Next Level can also be used by external organizations to hold gala performances, small-scale trade shows, company parties and congresses. They can benefit from the all-in formula (including stand construction, furniture, catering) that Easyfairs specializes in. The first parties at Next Level have already been confirmed.

West side parking lot renewed

During the past summer period, the entire west side of the Evenementenhal Gorinchem parking lot was also renewed. A total of 20,000m2 has been resurfaced and the layout has been further improved by new lines and road markings. New drains have also been installed for better drainage.
