Getting creative with plant construction

At the Rosewood Hotel Amsterdam, it is SDR Elektrotechniek that designs, engineers and installs the electrical, lighting, lifesafety and security installations and will provide support in managing the functionality of these installations. 

The electrical installation company is doing this as part of a construction team commissioned by CTF Amsterdam. "The other parties in the construction team are no strangers to us. It is a very special project and we are looking forward to turning this into a beautiful, very luxurious hotel together with the other construction team partners," says Hussein Fahimi, Director of Projects at SDR Elektrotechniek.

The hotel will be in a listed building. Therefore, many parts cannot be demolished. "We are therefore forced to be creative with the construction of the facilities," Fahimi continues. "We have a lot of experience with inner-city monumental projects, such as Hotel Krasnapolsky, the Pulitzer Hotel, the Anne Frank House and the Heineken Experience on Stadhouderskade, which we completed fairly recently. Every time it is a great experience to work together with the other parties to achieve a beautiful end result in a monumental building, to the satisfaction of the client. Once again we are going for it to get that done."
