At an early stage, the first lines of this project were set out, when Vesting Bouw called in the expertise of J.M. van Delft & zn. Albert Emmers, project manager at J.M. van Delft & zn., emphasizes the importance of this early involvement: "It was mainly about the possibilities in terms of frame types, glazing in certain dimensions and technical questions about the design. Together with the architect, we worked out the details and thus arrived at a complete design."
The focus of the project is mainly on window frames and a small section of curtain wall, with the challenge being the special triangular shape of the building. For this purpose, high-quality profiles from Schüco are used, with which J.M. van Delft & zn. provides the complete outer shell.
Although Emmers says the project is generally straightforward, the tight construction site brings some complexity. Especially accessibility on the side adjacent to the water requires precise planning and execution. "In addition, it's a very tight construction site, in a corner that you can't easily access without cranes and other equipment." Nevertheless, it is a fun project to work on, he adds. With confidence, the team looks forward to the future completion of office C3. It promises to be an open, modern and transparent building, where craftsmanship and innovation go hand in hand. The facade builder is therefore grateful to Vesting Bouw for their trust and looks forward to another fine collaboration,
