Pluimers Insulation installed this floor insulation. Harm Boltjes, Account Manager Business Market at Pluimers Insulation, looks back on a project that went smoothly.
"A total of eight hundred square meters of floor insulation was involved," Boltjes begins. "In 2019, we received the request for this from Burgland Bouw. The insulation had to meet an Rd value of 3.5. Furthermore, the insulation layer had to fit seamlessly to the concrete floor. PUR foam was the material of choice for this."
He continues: "As with every project, we first visited the construction site. During such a recording, we identify the situation and the client's wishes. Based on that, we make a targeted calculation and execution plan." When asked what the situation was at Christelijk Lyceum Veenendaal, Boltjes replied, "The floors were level and the crawl space under the floors was easily accessible. Our guys, experienced craftsmen, were able to get out of this very well."
Besides warm reception and skilled personnel, Pluimers Insulation has another asset: a substantial production capacity. "Our trucks travel all over the Netherlands and beyond every day," says Boltjes. "If, for example, we get the demand to supply and apply more PUR, we can respond to it in a short time frame. This was also the case at the Christelijk Lyceum Veenendaal." For Pluimers Insulation, the work at the Christelijk Lyceum Veenendaal has been over for more than a year. "The work went smoothly," says Boltjes. "Because of the thorough preparation, our guys knew exactly what to do. Upon arrival at the construction site, they could get to work immediately. In good cooperation with Burgland Bouw's project manager, they applied the PUR foam insulation layer quickly and smoothly under the concrete floor."
