VIDALCO, the sustainable partner in underfloor heating and cooling, is rolling up its sleeves at Blinq. With innovative and efficient solutions, VIDALCO provides a future-proof and comfortable living environment in Capelle aan den IJssel.
New construction project Blinq will be equipped with VIDALCO's modern heating and cooling systems. Although work on site in Capelle aan den IJssel has only just started, VIDALCO has been working on Blinq for quite some time. "At the drawing board, our contribution goes back a long way," says Chris Wijnhoud, company manager at VIDALCO. "We enjoy thinking with the customer and going the extra mile for a perfect result."
VIDALCO's work does not stop at producing underfloor heating and cooling systems for all buildings. In fact, the company takes on the complete process; from engineering to execution. Says Wijnhoud, "We like to take responsibility and enjoy playing a larger role."
The installations for Blinq are all manufactured on site. This is unlike anything else for VIDALCO, which regularly works with prefab installations. "Usually we choose prefab, because it allows us to work more efficiently on site. With Blinq this was not possible, due to design choices already made. But even in the current way of working, VIDALCO distinguishes itself in efficiency."
What makes VIDALCO unique is its strong focus on sustainability. All of VIDALCO's products are recyclable and are produced energy-neutral. The prefabricated modules are produced fully automatically, reducing waste and thus lowering the environmental impact of the process. In addition, the company also treats its employees very sustainably. "Installing underfloor heating or cooling in a traditional way is very stressful for your body," explains Wijnhoud. "You don't keep that up your whole life. Because we wanted to do something about that, we developed a robot that does most of the physical work for us. That way our products and our craftsmen can last for years to come. And that, of course, also applies to our floor installations at Blinq."
