The municipality of Rotterdam, Newport Nesselande CV (a collaboration of area developer AM, Van Omme & De Groot Projectontwikkelaars en Bouwers and Lithos Bouw en Ontwikkeling) will launch the online sale of 28 sustainable single-family homes in project Newport Nesselande subplan Copenhagen in Rotterdam on June 4. Construction of the homes is expected to start in the fall of 2020.
Newport Nesselande Copenhagen is being built on the Siciliëboulevard in Rotterdam Nesselande and is located directly on the Zevenhuizerplas. Newport Nesselande Copenhagen will feature 44 luxury owner-occupied apartments, 49 luxury private sector rental apartments and 28 single-family homes. The 28 homes range in size from 147 m2 to 156 m2. The homes all have a deep backyard and a spacious roof terrace facing the sun. Each home also has a private parking space in the courtyard. Prices are from €455,000 up to €489,000 v.o.n.
Residents can enjoy the proximity to the Zevenhuizerplas. Stores, public transportation are literally around the corner and arterial roads are a short distance away. The design of the homes comes from the Danish architectural firm 3xNielsen. The inspiration for the design of Newport Nesselande was formed by water-related living environments in cities such as Barcelona and Copenhagen. The realization is in the hands of Van Omme & De Groot. Interested parties can find more information on the website www.newport-nesselande.nl. The sale is in the hands of Scheele makelaardij from Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel.
Newport Nesselande Copenhagen is being developed sustainably with a high ambition in terms of energy and comfort. All homes will be equipped with underfloor heating and connected to the district heating network. Solar panels will also be installed. In combination with good insulation, this ensures an energy-efficient home that is sustainable and future-proof. A home without gas offers residents several advantages. Gas-free living contributes to a favorable (indoor) climate, it provides a financial advantage and ensures greater safety and health indoors.
The completion of subplan Copenhagen will complete the Newport Nesselande area development in Rotterdam. A total of 464 homes, approximately 10,000 m2 of retail space and a parking garage for approximately 650 cars will then have been realized here. The project won the NEPROM prize for location development in 2011.
