With the completion of the new laboratory with office space for NutriControl in Veghel, MGB Cladding Systems has gained another fine reference. The Waalwijk-based facade specialist has enriched the new building with floor-to-ceiling aluminum composite facade elements, which, thanks to a finish in pearl beige, play with the sun at any time of day.
With its years of experience in facade construction, MGB Cladding Systems is able to transform any design and idea into a high-quality finished product. The new building for Nutricontrol in Veghel proves this. “We were involved at an early stage by Bouwbedrijf van de Ven,” says Peter Verhoofstad, director of MGB Cladding Systems. “In a construction team with the building contractor, system builder and window frame supplier, we determined the right detailing. How could we achieve the most beautiful facade possible in the most economical way? In addition to the working widths of the panels, the frames, which were cut into the facades on site, also played a crucial role in this. By working with a repeating mesh, aesthetics, manufacturability and price came together nicely.”
In total, MGB Cladding Systems installed about 1,050 square meters of aluminum composite elements, including the ceilings for the canopies. Panels in 4 mm aluminum composite and with a finish in RAL 1035 (pearl beige) were chosen, says Verhoofstad. “By working with floor-to-ceiling panels in carefully selected widths, an extremely sleek and flat facade appearance is created. The pitch of the panels comes out perfectly between the window frames. Because we were able to mount our panels directly on the sandwich panels installed by Damu Systeembouw, fixed rear constructions were possible. This allowed us to install the panels significantly faster and more economically.” Due to the large size of the elements, work was mostly done using two aerial platforms one above the other, with the panels set with suction cups.
In June 2025, the final elements were assembled. However, the cooperation between Bouwbedrijf van de Ven and MGB Cladding Systems continues. For example, the companies are currently involved in the construction of the new distribution center for Bestseller in Lelystad.
