Commissioned by main contractor Heilijgers Bouw and developer NEOO, J.M. van Delft & zn. of Drunen is proud to contribute to the expansion of the Kauwgomballenfabriek. This striking building, once a production hall with offices, is currently undergoing a transformation into an impressive workplace where past, present and future come together. J.M. van Delft & zn. plays an essential role in this transformation by providing the new facade with high-quality aluminum window frames, curtain walls and flashings.
This extension focuses on the preservation and restoration of historical elements in the old facade, giving it a dynamic and modern look. Through the craftsmanship and expertise of J.M. van Delft & zn., the facade will be a true eye-catcher, with the interplay of old and new forming a harmonious whole. The completion of the facade is scheduled for early 2024, after which the finishing with aluminum flashing will take place.
Despite the hustle and bustle on the construction site, cooperation between the parties involved is progressing satisfactorily. One of the biggest challenges proved to be the tight schedule, where it is essential that all parties are accurately aligned. Nevertheless, this challenge was successfully overcome through effective communication. Through open and transparent consultation, all involved managed to maintain the schedule and keep the project on track.
