An important contribution to the BREEAM certification is made by Vink Installation Group. It ensures that the building is heated and cooled in an environmentally friendly way, that the energy consumption of the building can be accurately monitored and that rainwater is fully utilized.
In a nutshell, Vink Installation Group provides the sanitary and climate installations. The sanitary installations include the rainwater drains, installed according to the Geberit Pluvia system. "This system works with negative pressure," explains Martin Middelbos of Vink Installation Group. "Should a roof fill up with rainwater, it is transferred to the piping system via negative pressure." It carries out the sanitary facilities with associated water pipes in the user-friendly Geberit FlowFit system, and for the rainwater drainage it lays the tanks. In these, the water can be collected and then reused as flushing water for the toilets and urinals.
Heating and cooling of the building is by means of air. To this end, Vink is installing fan coil units for each office section above the ceiling, a heat pump and a VRF system linked to an air handling unit. It provides the industrial hall with low-temperature underfloor heating and in the offices it installs peripheral strip underfloor heating. Middelbos: "It is a package of smart measures that drastically reduces energy consumption in the building. This requires an investment now, but later the user will reap the benefits. Fortunately, the client of De Loeten is strongly motivated for this."
When the owner soon occupies the building, he can monitor the performance of the installations through the building management system installed with Priva software. This can be done via the computer in the building and remotely. Temperature, any leaks, electricity consumption or fire can then be viewed at any time. If desired, Vink Installatie Groep can also take on the role of maintenance party. This guarantees the optimal performance of the installations.
