Complete installation package

For client Lont, Sikma Installatie Sneek is building 2 apartment buildings in Hurdegaryp. Each building consists of 16 apartments spread over 4 floors. One building is intended for the rental sector, the other for sale. The owner-occupied apartments are therefore also slightly larger than the rental apartments. Sikma Installatie Sneek works a lot together with Lont and provides in this project the entire installation. From central heating to balanced ventilation, plumbing, sewerage and water pipes, fire protection and solar panels.

W-techniques

Each apartment will be equipped with an air/water heat pump. Underfloor heating is connected to this, providing the entire apartment with heating and also allowing some cooling. In addition, the heat pump provides the apartment with hot tap water. A ventilation unit with heat recovery will also be installed in each apartment. This unit will reuse the extracted air so that additional energy is saved.

Each rental apartment is provided with a package of standard plumbing fixtures. In the case of the owner-occupied apartments, some of this will be delivered as shells. A large part, however, will be fitted with sanitary ware from Baderie, which is part of Sikma Installatie Sneek. The total installer from Sneek is also responsible for the supply and installation of all sewage and water pipes (hot + cold). In addition, a hydrophore will be installed in the central area to ensure water pressure for the upper apartments as well.

E-techniques

Following the W-techniques, Sikma Installation Sneek also provides the supply and installation of the complete electrical installation. From the meter cupboard to the ceiling light points, switches and wall sockets. Various connection points will be realized in the kitchens. For access to the apartment buildings, a complete video intercom system will be realized, where one can have contact with the person standing outside the building from each apartment and, if necessary, also grant access. For the additional safety of all residents, a fire protection system will also be realized. Here, use is made of an overpressure system. In the event of a fire, a high air pressure quickly dissipates the smoke present in the central hall, allowing the residents to escape safely.

The apartments will be equipped with a smoke detector, which will be linked to a door closer in the apartment. If an unexpected fire breaks out, the door to that apartment is automatically closed. This prevents the fire from entering the central hall. No solar panels are currently being installed for the rental apartments. For the owner-occupied apartments, three panels will be installed per apartment.
