In a world where fresh air is increasingly valued, TROX provides the perfect technology. For the Gilde Vakcollege in Gorinchem, a modern educational institution where technology is central, TROX played a crucial role. Not only in supplying products, but also in designing and realizing a perfect indoor climate. "We really showed a piece of craftsmanship here," says Randy van Spronsen, account manager at TROX.
With decades of experience, TROX is committed to healthy air in schools, offices and hospitals, among other places. Its specialization? Air handling units, filters and climate components. These systems not only provide clean and draft-free air, but also contribute to energy efficiency and a low-noise environment.
TROX works regularly with Klimaatservice Holland, the executing party on this project. That cooperation is based on trust and mutual respect. "We provide the expertise at the product level, Klimaatservice Holland takes care of the integration into the overall system," Van Spronsen said. "And because it purchases multiple products from us, we can ensure a favorable price. That's what makes these kinds of projects successful."
For the Gilde Vakcollege, TROX faced a number of challenges. "Lack of space is always a factor," says Van Spronsen. "In addition, the air handling unit had to be quiet, energy efficient and accessible for maintenance." The solution? A custom-designed air handling unit that not only meets all the technical requirements, but is also visible from the auditorium. "It's a beautiful piece of technology to be proud of," he says.
"Our craftsmanship is really in the details. Even the sealant edges of our air handling units we develop ourselves," Van Spronsen explains. "That ensures a perfect fit and therefore little noise pollution. The project manager of Klimaatservice Holland specifically involved us in this project because our installations have such a low noise level. That is very important at a school." A special moment in the project was the excursion to the factory in Germany, where cooperation partners as well as Vakcollege students were able to see the production process up close. "That is the advantage of our proximity: we are flexible and can involve our customers, partners and even users."
The cooperation with Klimaatservice Holland was flawless, Van Spronsen emphasizes. "The coordination was crucial. Delivering the right product at the right time is essential in such tight schedules. Together we tailored the design seamlessly to the client's requirements."
