Van der Zee Kozijntechniek & Gevelelementen has been active on the market as a manufacturer and supplier of plastic and aluminum window frames since 2000. The company focuses on large and small-scale projects. To this end, Van der Zee processes plastic from the Gealan profile brand and aluminum from Reynaers. The in-house production takes place at Industrieweg 23 in Berkel en Rodenrijs. Why Gealan? "Because we can go in multiple directions with these versatile profiles."
Van der Zee was involved in project Kop van Noord by contractor Jurriëns. Kadir Deniz: "The rear facade frames at phases 1 and 2 consist of balcony doors and tilt-and-turn windows. At phase 4, the front facades are fitted with window frames, type 'Van der Zee', of authentic sash windows with invisible grilles and sus boxes. This type of window frames has a look that can hardly be distinguished from a wooden variant. In this way, the classic appearance of the buildings is preserved. All window frames also come with SKG**, KOMO, CE and PKVW certificates."
"In this project, we are engaged on a per-phase basis and experience a mutual, pleasant cooperation. Therefore, our objective is that it will continue for several years. Our mission is to fulfill wishes by seeing them as our own concerns. With honest and nice people you can make nice projects come true. We strongly believe, that in the future we will continue to execute many nice projects with Jurriëns."
Deniz: "Heavy requirements are imposed by municipalities in the inner city on the visibility of ventilation grilles. Local residents often do not want them placed on the glass. We came up with a solution for this in 2005; we designed our own invisible grilles and sus boxes. This product is referred to by architects as the 'Van der Zee' type. Thanks to this innovation, we are becoming increasingly well known, which of course we are proud of!"
