Support structure and railings complete apartments

For the new-build apartments in Havelte, Staalbouwbedrijf Kamphof supplied the entire support structure and railing for the balconies. The apartments will all have a spacious balcony or (roof) terrace. The no-nonsense company produced everything in its own workshop in Dwingeloo.

"Most of the steel we supplied is concealed and not visible to the naked eye," says Hessel Kamphof. That said, his company's work is of great importance to the project. The railings of the balconies and much of the supporting structure were preserved by having them hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated. "We manufacture and engineer everything ourselves," Kamphof continues. "We feel at home making steel structures for commercial construction."

Kamphof represents the fifth generation to own the family business. In addition to steel structures, the company does metalwork and roof and wall cladding. Everything is produced using high-quality equipment, such as a plasma robot, sawing machines, CNC machines and proper welding equipment.
