Cobana in Rotterdam Katendrecht is packed with KOMO-certified building products. This means that the quality of these products has been tested by independent experts. And that it has repeatedly been objectively established that they meet all public and private quality requirements. Such as the innovative HSB facade elements from producer Vianen Kozijnen B.V. that are incorporated in Cobana.

Aluminum window frames

Vianen Kozijnen developed these special facade elements together with Heijmans and SIGA. The HSB elements are water- and airtight and feature aluminum frames in a wooden cavity sheet. The frames are KOMO-certified on the basis of BRL 0801 Wooden façade elements.

Waterproof and airtight at high altitude

The precast façade elements developed for Cobana guarantee air and water tightness up to 600Pa and can be used, even on the coast, up to a height of over 100 meters. They achieve level 4 airtightness (EN 12207) and meet passive level Qv10 0.15. This means that these HSB façade elements ideally meet specific high-rise building requirements - but of course also come into their own in low-rise buildings.
