Back in October 2020, Steboma joined the Groot Hartje project in Eindhoven for ventilation. After a number of design optimizations, they picked up the engineering in a construction team context to finally arrive at a perfect executive design. It is Steboma's strength to listen to the client's wishes at all stages.
"From the beginning, we helped design the building, such as the way of ventilation and the shaft sizes. This way the building gets the best possible ventilation system within the framework and budget," says Morten Sweegers, Sales Manager at Steboma.
Finally, the owner-occupied apartments of Block 1 received ventilation with heat recovery (WTW), the rental apartments of Block 2 partly WTW and partly mechanical ventilation, and the rental apartments of Block 3 are fully mechanically ventilated. Steboma also provided the façade grilles that guarantee air supply and CO2 sensors in all apartments. These ensure that ventilation can be based on need, Sweegers says. "If no one is home, less ventilation is needed. The outside air is filtered before it enters the home. The filters have to be changed regularly. If required, we can also pick up the maintenance. For that, we have a service department with maintenance contracts."
Steboma performed the work on behalf of Stam + De Koning, with whom it works more frequently and has a good relationship.
