Innovation on all fronts

The Twintec Group has been around for more than 30 years and has built up an impressive track record over those years. The product range anno 2019 is equally impressive with the Twintec Ultimate 'seamless' hybrid reinforced superflat concrete floor or the Twintec Eco with recycled steel fiber for a significant CO₂-reduction.

With 23 branches around the world, Twintec is a true global player. "Our local presence allows us to meet the values and standards of the country where we are stationed," says Marieke Pitlo of Twintec Netherlands. Starting with traditional floors with saw cuts, Twintec presented the Freeplan floor in the 1990s; a complete steel-fiber reinforced floor with expansion joints. "Instead of about 300 m¹ of saw cuts per 1,000 m² of poured floor, with the Freeplan floor we could suffice with only 50 m¹ of dilatation profile. Around 2015, the Twintec Ultimate floor was added to the product range, a 'seamless' hybrid reinforced floor designed by our own engineers."

Significant CO₂-reduction

Twintec's product range is broad. "All our floor types have their own specific properties. This allows us to meet the requirements and wishes of our clients in a flexible way," Pitlo explains. "The Design, Build and Guarantee concept allows us to customize the floor from the order phase until after the execution phase. Our in-house engineers provide designs for all over the world, according to the wishes and possibilities of our relations. All with innovative calculation methods and tailored to the (local) standards of the country. Our research department continuously investigates possibilities to improve or develop techniques, applications and materials. Among other things, this has resulted in the Twintec Eco, a Twintec floor with a reused steel fiber, which allows us to reduce CO₂-reduction can achieve."

High quality

"Twintec Plus is a product that allows us to treat both existing and new floors," continued Pitlo. "This allows us to completely upgrade an old floor and make it look like new again. Due to its high light reflectance values, Twintec Plus also contributes to the environment." The machines used to create the various floors are mostly Twintec Group's own development. "In this, too, the environment and the emission of CO₂ central. Above all, Twintec remains a social company.
