Black is the new trend in washrooms

In the residential sector, they've known it for a long time: if you're going for style and contrast in the washroom, choose black. What about the utility sector, however? Building owners are now aware that washrooms are a calling card for the company or institution. It is a sign of hospitality to welcome visitors to the washroom in an atmosphere of hygienic luxury. Plumbing in public buildings must meet different requirements than plumbing in a home; especially where ease of maintenance, easy cleaning, anti-theft systems, etc. are concerned. 

Black, also stylish in public places

With black predominating in household kitchens and bathrooms, the color is also making an appearance in utility washrooms. Black is timeless and creates a fixture; after all, it offers an instant stylish look. It gives sanitary ware a retro and industrial feel. This is why DELABIE chose to develop a range of sanitary appliances in 304 stainless steel with a matte black Teflon® finish. The products are resistant to intensive use (unbreakable) and weigh less, which is very important for installation. 

Teflon® or PTFE is a material that is resistant to chemical products. This is the same material used for non-stick pans in the kitchen. However, sanitary fixtures (sink, toilet, urinal) are not exposed to the same stresses as a pan in the kitchen (high temperatures, use), so the black finish will remain intact longer. In addition, Teflon® has limited grip. Lime scale, the main enemy of the color black, will therefore have difficulty adhering. This simplifies the maintenance and cleaning of your sanitary appliances. Choose all-black!

Full range

The range of sanitary appliances in stainless steel with Teflon® matte black finish now includes 15 references: sinks to be built in and placed on the countertop, suspended toilets, floor-standing toilets, toilets for persons with reduced mobility or with cistern, urinals and partitions. These references are always in stock, making them available quickly and individually. The sinks come without a drain plug, so the decorative style can be chosen: add a black drain plug for an all-black look with black faucet or add a chrome drain plug for a 'mix and match' look black/chrome with a chrome faucet.
