Profile system family specially developed for the Dutch market

German REHAU can call itself one of the European market leaders when it comes to developing and producing profile systems for windows and doors. With a keen eye for the individual needs of profile processors that differ from country to country, REHAU developed the SYNEGO-NL profile system family for the Dutch market. Meanwhile, this profile has become an indispensable product and a favorite with profile processors and architects alike. The fact that SYNEGO-NL is also extremely suitable for the renovation market is a big plus. More than complete

"REHAU realizes that its customers need a complete product package, to provide everything from one source. For this reason, SYNEGO-NL is more than complete. Any market demand can basically be solved with the profiles belonging to the SYNEGO-NL family. REHAU develops, produces and sells progressive systems for plastic frames, windows and doors that meet the very latest building technology requirements for windows and doors. In fact, in many cases the performance exceeds the standard. SYNEGO-NL is completely designed for the Dutch market in terms of design and technology, which makes the products within this family so suitable for renovation projects. The available color palette is also tailored to this," says Van Houten. 

"Within the SYNEGO-NL family we find tilt and turn windows, fixed windows, house doors, doors and lift-and-slide doors as well as inline sliding doors and windows, in both the most common and special elements," says Van Houten. "Processors can use SYNEGO-NL to make all elements common in the Netherlands. From simple windows to outward-turning doors, which can also be supplied with top or side lights if desired. Even old-fashioned sliding windows are among the possibilities, as well as arched or angled frames. The profile system has a 16° or 6° view, also in combination with the RHL joint. Moreover, it is very stable and suitable for both residential construction and modular construction, think prefabricated houses and chalet construction, for example."

'Create difference, grow business'

With this slogan, REHAU manifests itself not only as a developer and products of profile systems, but indicates that the company supports and handles the complete chain. The use of 40 to 75% recycled material (EcoPuls label) during the production of the SYNEGO-NL profile systems contributes to a positive ecological footprint. REHAU has been able to combine all its expertise together with the applicable market requirements in one system, and that with the use of recycled material. "Plastic can easily be reintroduced into the production process ten times without sacrificing quality. REHAU takes responsibility for this, by keeping the entire recycling process in its own hands. Old frames, windows and doors are actively collected by us, cleaned, finely ground, sorted and recovered, after which they are reused in the core of our profiles. This alone enables us to save 97,000 tons of CO2 annually," Van Houten said.

Say it with color

Thanks to the KALEIDO COLOR program, architects and end users can choose from more than 400 color and design finishes. Van Houten: "This allows us to offer a suitable solution for every furnishing and every living style. Here it is even possible to color-coat the rebate completely all around, for a uniform look of the doors and windows." Within the KALEIDO color family, REHAU offers three options, whereby the SYNEGO-NL profiles are optionally coated with a high-quality color film with wood, solid and metallic motifs (KALEIDO FOIL), a multi-layer spray paint (KALEIDO PAINT) or a cladding with aluminum cladding profiles (KALEIDO COVER).
