Platform on new construction, renovation, restoration and transformation
WE DID IT!!! ASK Romein has won the Construsoft BIM Awards 2020 in the Industrial Projects category with the new construction project of the Hoogvliet distribution center in Bleiswijk (NL)!!! Every year, Construsoft presents the BIM Awards to companies that realize exceptional and challenging construction projects within BIM using Tekla Structures and other BIM software. And that was very much the case with the construction of this state-of-the-art distribution center!
We built it together with our partners according to the latest techniques:
✅ The steel structure is light and efficient.
✅ Environmentally conscious and energy-saving applications were used as much as possible, such as low-energy installations and cooling techniques, an underground thermal storage system, solar panels on the roof and a gray-water circuit.
✅ The building meets a BREEAM certification Outstanding *****.
✅ At any point in the production process it was possible to check what stage we were in, within Tekla, but equally within another package such as Trimble Connect.
✅ Communication and control with the other construction partners was mainly through IFC.
