With Arjan Berends’ move to the Schagen Group, a new phase is also beginning at Salverda Bouw. René Bosch and Gerwin Port will jointly take over the leadership of Salverda Bouw. As a complementary duo, they complement each other on the executive board: René focuses on renovation and residential construction, while Gerwin is responsible for non-residential construction. Both are active in both existing and new construction projects.
Both have a long track record at Salverda Bouw, a subsidiary of the Schagen Group. Gerwin has been with the company for 21 years and, during that time, has gradually worked his way up through various operational roles to the executive board. René has been with the company for 28 years and has advanced to his new position through various roles, starting from the front lines. Their appointments also demonstrate the wealth of knowledge, experience, and leadership already present within the organization.
René and Gerwin continue to build a close-knit organization, while upholding the values that have defined Salverda Bouw for generations.
René Bosch: “We have a solid foundation on which to build. I see it as a special responsibility to continue shaping that foundation together. We are taking the time to ensure a thorough transition and will continue to operate based on quality, commitment, and collaboration..”
Gerwin Port: “I am grateful for the trust placed in us. Salverda Bouw is an organization that gives people opportunities to grow. I have experienced this firsthand. Together, we will continue to build a stable and forward-looking organization.“
For clients and partners, the usual points of contact and the way we work together will remain the same.
