In 1971, Jo van Strien started producing decorative plasters, in a simple way. He did so with a converted bakery dough mill. At night, the machine ran and during the day, lubrication was done.

In 2019, Strikolith has already made great strides in reducing plastic waste. For example, all Finish Paints can already be found in recycled buckets. For Renderpro profiles, we are also working hard to work with less packaging material. Therefore, starting July 2019, we started packing all PAR profiles in rolls of 50 lengths. A saving of 50% in packaging material!
In the coming period, Strikolith will take an even sharper look at the area of (plastic) packaging. Strikolith attaches great importance to the environment, and takes its responsibility in the field of man, environment and living environment.

As of August 2019, a new subsidy is available for homeowners who want to make their homes more sustainable. The so-called Home Energy Saving Subsidy (SEEH) is intended to increase the sustainability of existing homes. With the new subsidy scheme, homeowners can receive a subsidy if they implement two or more major insulation measures for their home.
