ROCKWOOL introduces a new generation of stone wool cavity wall insulation. Presented to the market on June 3, the innovative product line replaces the previous Rockfit generation. Due to a new production technology, these cavity boards are on average 20% lighter while maintaining strength and thermal performance. In addition, the ecological footprint is now even smaller.
ROCKWOOL products are circular: they are fully recyclable and reusable while maintaining their original quality. In addition, the new generation of Rockfit requires less primary and secondary raw materials, while maintaining a lifespan of at least 75 years. The familiar thermal performance has also remained the same. The circular properties, combined with the economical use of raw materials and less energy consumption in production, ensure a greatly reduced ecological footprint.
Renewed and innovative
Circular therefore, but also light and sturdy. ROCKWOOL achieved this through innovative production technology. This innovative technology ensures that the cavity boards are on average 20% lighter. Thanks to this lower weight, the new Rockfit boards are easier to handle and processing with pin anchors is facilitated. Thanks to the resilient fiber structure, the cavity boards fit seamlessly: on top of each other, around corners and doors and against uneven interior leaves. Rockfit insulation is therefore very easy and quick to install.
Improved quality, improved warranty
ROCKWOOL stands for outstanding product quality. That quality promise is signed with an extended warranty of no less than 25 years on Rockfit products. The Rockfit 25 cavity warranty can be applied for by contractors and is also confirmation that the insulation has been installed correctly. In view of the Building Quality Assurance Act recently passed by the Senate, with which builders will have to demonstrate that they are building according to the rules of the Building Decree, the Rockfit 25 cavity guarantee is therefore very valuable for contractors.
